EXPECTATIONS OF BOARD MEMBERS

Membership on the Board of Directors is both an honor and a responsibility.

Understand and support SRHC’s mission.
Prepare for, attend, and participate in board meetings
Serve on one or two SRHC committees based on interest, expertise, or need.

The Board generally meets quarterly but may hold more meetings as needed. Most meetings are virtually with the exception of the NCHC Business Meeting and SRHC Annual Business Meeting which are held in person at those respective conferences.

Candidate Statement

Please keep candidate statements to 250 words or less. Your statement should include items such as leadership experience, strengths, and goals for SRHC

including qualifications for holding office.

Photo

Candidates will be posted to the SRHC website. We encourage the use of a photo to allow membership to become familiar with candidates at the conference.

Letter of Support

A letter of support from your Honors Dean or Director is required.
