For 2010, SRHC is providing Student Stipends up to 200 dollars toward the registration cost of attending NCHC’s Partners in the Parks. This funding is to assist financially challenged students to participate in the academic adventures hosted through Partners in the Parks. As does NCHC, we encourage Honors Directors, Advisors and Deans to promote the awards and encourage qualified applicants to apply.

A complete application process will be forthcoming. In the meantime, applicants should have their Honors Director, Advisor or Dean send a letter to the SRHC President verifying that the student is enrolled in a 2010 Partners in the Parks project and has financial need. The $200 stipend check will be sent directly to qualified applicants; the letter should include a mailing address for the check. The application letter can be attached to an email to Dr. Frank Provenzano at frank.provenzano@gvltec.edu.
