Nadia Yevstigneyeva is founding Director of the Honors College at St. Petersburg College (SPC) which was established in 2003. Her teaching experiences include teaching Honors College Cornerstone and Capstone Seminars, lecturing for Honors Interdisciplinary Studies Program on 19th Century Russian Literature, and participating in variety of forums and panel discussions with other honors faculties. She has organized and participated in numerous honors workshops, conferences and meetings hosted by Eckerd College, USF, State, Regional and National Councils. She's a huge advocate of International Study Abroad programs, cultural exchange, and interdisciplinary approach in education, and has guided several groups abroad since 2003 to experience other cultural diversity. She's an admirer of languages, literature, music and arts. Nadia graduated from the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy and practiced as a Medical Doctor while pursuing a post-graduate degree in Public Health Administration. Outside of the academic duties and as the Director of the Honors College, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Russian Heritage Society of Tampa Bay (http://www.russianheritage.org/) and served as a President for few terms.

Philip Frana is Associate Professor of Science and Technology Studies in the Honors College and Director of Undergraduate Research at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). He coordinates efforts on more than two hundred undergraduate research projects on the UCA campus each year. Phil teaches seminars on the Search for Self, the Search for Community, the Artificial Other (robotics, artificial intelligence, and society), Art & Technology, Oral History and the Study of Memory, the History of the Life Sciences, History of Medicine, History of Science, History of Engineering, Technology and the Law, Virtual Worlds and Online Communities, and Senior Seminars on Economic Globalization, Transhumanism, and Futuristics. He also teaches courses on research and writing across the disciplines.
Phil's primary domains for teaching and research are science and technology studies, oral history, intellectual history, and technology in education. His publications are mainly in the history of medicine and public health, the history of computing, the history of expertise and the professions, and Honors education. He is working on a book manuscript documenting the history of health informatics called "Calculating Care: Evidence, Computers, and Medicine in the 20th Century."

Matthew Hankins is currently a senior at the University of Central Arkansas. He's double majoring in Physics and Mathematics. His research interests include astrophysics, cosmology, and game theory. Over the summer Matthew was an REU intern with the University of Michigan, where he worked with the ROTSE collaboration (Robotic Optical Transient Search Experiment). In addition to academics, he is actively involved in the Honors College community at UCA. He has served for three years on the Honors Student Council with appointments consisting of coordinating with hall government, web master, and most recently vice president. He also serves as an ambassador for prospective honors students. In his free time he enjoys catching up on various sporting events and watching films, as well as playing guitar.
